About

Soraya Farha is a multi-dimensional artist who uses painting, writing, poetry and photography. Based in Toronto, she is fortunate to have both a robust creative life and an inspiring legal career and has found a symbiosis between these worlds. Soraya explores colour and form in abstraction, working with multimedia including acrylic, pastel and oil stick. In addition to her endeavours in the visual arts, Soraya has published fiction and poetry and currently is writing a book on sisterhood and loss.

  • Recipient, The Denis Diderot Grant. Awarded by the Château d'Orquevaux Artists & Writers Residency in Champagne-Ardenne, France for attendance at the Residency in June, 2025
