Soraya Farha is a multidisciplinary artist who works from studios in Toronto and in the forest by Skeleton Lake, Ontario. A lifelong seeker of beauty and justice, Soraya’s journey has taken her from the shores of the Ottawa River and the Mediterranean Sea, to the study of literature, political philosophy and law. Seeking expression that both calls upon her academic and professional pursuits, and transcends their bounds, over the last decade Soraya has turned to painting and writing. Through these media, in a kind of clarion call, she explores what it means to be human today, responding to the beauty, sorrow and injustice that she witnesses in the world around her.
